part one (or here, on the deviantArt)

it's rather normal, that Feliks makes decisions without thinking )

two years to the end of the world

the next year started, first semester in school ends (oh my God, oh my God, I still have 5 drawings, which I should do, but won't do, simply because deadline is tommorrow) and I have less and less time to matura exam. about hundred days; I have studniówka next week. I wonder: is it only Polish tradition? studniówka is a ball held a hundred days before matura exams in which main event is polonaise; most students dances it, me too (haha, last time I danced polonaise, when I was leaving kindergarden, but it's so easy dance, that even I am able to learn it). I'm very excited about that; high heels still scary me a lot though XD.

I have little time, but want to do many things, that's the problem. Drawing (not only for school), writing, reading books and playing guitar; because I started to learn how to play it. I've always wanted to try it, but now my fragile fingers are bleeding, bleeding~~! (and all I can play is intro to "Smoke on the water" XDD). but I won't give up for sure, yeah!

I'm still working on some hetalia projects, but think should hold them on for the moment, due to learing to matura exam (I have to start, I have to start, Maths, Physics, arghhhh). only one, which I want to finish before May is "In the distance". um, first of all, I have to translate chapter one into English, but instead of doing it, I started to draw some pictures basing on that XD (and I think I'll turn some scenes in the "doujin" xd)

over here, over here! but it's only a sketch xd )

happy new year, everyone! I know it's a bit too late, but hope you don't mind

another night

... that I didn't sleep, because I was drawing some fanarts. guess why? because I read another TwilightRose's FrUK fanfic "Divine Intervention". that's weird, only her fanfics make me draw fanarts like that . ."

be warned, big images )

I'm not good at making up titles for unfinished things, so it's only for time being. will change it into something more epic XD

well, I'm Poland/Jadwiga maniac since yesterday. I don't really know how it happened ok, I know, I read info about Jadwiga on wikipedia OTL and learnt some interesting facts about her, which I should already KNOW OTL But just after reading it their relationship and their relationship with Tolys (because that IS Lithuanian name instead of Toris) were absolutely clear for me.
jealous Feliks, Tolys - outsider and pagan, cute and cheerful Jadwiga.
and...
...
ok, I won't give you spoilers.

PS. today I saw a girl, who looked EXACTLY like young Poland, she even acted like he XD

I couldn't sleep last night

...and because yesterday I read awesome FrUK fanfiction, I spent few hours in the night sketching XD.

ill and bored

The world used to be much simplier.

I watched "potop" today (you know, film based on Sienkiewicz's history novel about Polish-Swedish war in 17. century) and that's so FUCKING AWESOME movie. it's old and actors' playing is somehow funny (their way of speaking, sometimes so emotionless...), BUT!

BATTLE SCENES.
COSTUMES. (yay for Bogusław Radziwiłł and Wołodyjowski <3)
DUELS. (SABREEEES~~)

SO EPIC.
I stared at them with such face: *___________*
they somehow better than in the Lord of the Rings

I'm ill again, not serious thing, but I won't come out for few days ;__;

I can't believe it

Poland won against Lithuania in BASKETBALL. there's something wrong with it, isn't there?

PL vs LT
jesien
[info]caitinka
today there's basketball match between Poland and Lithuania (actually it already started, I can hear it in TV). I wouldn't know it (I'm not a big fan of sport), if there weren't so many Lithuanians on Wrocław's Market Place today (the match takes place in my city).
they all had Lithuanian flags or T-shirts "I'm proud of being Lithuanian", my friends started wondering why are people patriots today, what's the reason of it?

I had first art workshops in school today. and there's something wrong with my teacher, I had only three drawings (I should have six or something) and I got six O_O

some thoughts about Polcon
jesien
[info]caitinka
uh
THAT WAS THE BEST CONVENTION I'VE BEEN TO, I suppose. so many positive people, so many interesting lectures... or too many, I should say, one day I hardly had time to eat something because LECTURES WERE MORE IMPORTANT THAN EATING.

There are three things I'll never forget about. First of all, lectures given by John Wick, RPG designer, who was mainly talking about game masters. He made really strong impression on me, so creative and full of humour...! ("Pain is coming" XD nevermind)
also interpreter - because first John's lecture I was on, was translated into Polish - was great. at some moment John Wick was talking about some rules and then shouted "fuck them!", so the interpreter translated it into "tere-fere ich" XDDD (I don't know if people in UK or US use this kind of word, but if not: "tere-fere" is not the next Polish word that just sounds stupid, it's the word that can be used, when somebody, for example, don't agree with your opinion and point you that it's wrong and you're upset because of it; then you say "tere-fere" and it means something like "it's you, who is WRONG, moron, I'm not listening to you" oh, I actually found this word in dictionary. in English it's something like "tell me another!" or "tell it to the mariners", whatever it means XD)

And now, try to imagine the situation. On Polcon there were two buildings, the first one, where lectures, meetings with writers and that kind of thing took place, and the second one, big sports hall with fantasy fair and games rooms. and we wanted to get there from the first building, to play some board games. we started with five people and ended up with TEN people XD. there was simply NO board game for us, so we decided to play Jungle Speed (you now, this game with totem and cards with different symbols; if on the table two identical symbols appear, two people are fighting to get totem as fast as possible).
AND WE WERE PLAYING IT FOR EIGHT HOURS.
finished at three in the night.
that was the GREAT game.
(I wanna play it again ;_; )

even coming back home was fun. "nie będę gibał owiec, nie będę gibał owiec" XD unfortunately it's "untranslatable" sentence, but will stay in my mind FOREVER XD.

now, some photos? )

big thanks for Pauliś, Igor, Dżibril, Bartek, Kasia, Jacek, Baca and Krzysiek for amazing time spent with them. I can't wait for the next convention ^3^

and now... school has started. I will die soon.

life is beautiful (back from Bieszczady)
jesien
[info]caitinka
finally I'm back from Bieszczady. when I was leaving them, I didn't know how I can live without mountains and freedom, that they give to people, but now it's quite ok. However I miss them very much, sun and rain, that worked miracles, and people with guitars, that gave great concerts, and this climatic shelter "Bacówka pod Rawkami", where we had wonderful time.
In mountains you're friend of everyone and everyone is your friend and that's why I love them, I guess.

I took some photos, but not very much, because usually my camera was at the bottom of my rucksack (I really don't know why) and it was raining, so... But they're really beautiful mountains, no matter if it's rainy or sunny, or you don't see anything because of clouds. I've never seen so wild mountains before and was really impressed by them.

want to see some photos? click here. )

the reason of being so wild is very sad, though. In the past Bieszczady and Beskidy were inhabited by Łemkowie and Bojkowie. But after The Second World War almost ALL of them were removed by force in the Wisła Operation. Why? Because Polish Army wasn't able to get rid of Ukrainian Insurgent Army, that was hiding in the mountains. So they removed inhabitians of Bieszczady so that UPA couldn't get any food. It really worked, but because of it Bieszczady became completely empty and Łemkowie and Bojkowie lost their land.

On the camp we sang some songs of Łemkowie (by the way Łemkowie are mentioned in many polish songs about Bieszczady). One of them became hit of the camp and we sang it many, many times.
I found it on youtube, but it's more delicate version than we sang.

Now I'm sitting in my house and it's so hot D:

it's raining again D:

I have time (holidays), so I can write a journal now (and I want to, because I didn't write any for a long time). sorry for my mistakes in English, it's not my native language.

it's raining. It rains each day for a week or something. horrible. in the morning you cannot breathe because it's so hot and muggy, and in afternoon - tada! - storm comes :'D. actually these storms are like salvation, because you can breathe again, but still I hate summer.

Today I was with my sister in her new school, where she had to submit some documents, whatever. And while I was waiting for her, I looked at the buildling in front of me. And I was shocked. I often pass it by, while going to the Main Railway Station of Wrocław, but never realised that it is so old, pompous and that it looks funny, surrounded by PRL buildings. It just... doesn't match the street.

There are many buildings like this one; you pass it by every day, but don't really see them and their beauty. One day I have to go on a walk and make photos of them. (Last time I "discovered" beautiful, neo-gothic tenement *_*)

Hello everyone
jesien
[info]caitinka
To be honest, I joined LJ because of my Hetalia addiction (I just wanted to comment some posts there >D). Well, maybe if I had more time, I would do sth here, write entries, add pictures, fanfictions and so on, but actually I haven't got enough time (school is killing me).
if you want to see my drawings etc., visit my dA account, please.
moreover I can only add comments here. LJ is too difficult to me >DDD

nice to meet you
